This later included pantomimes of how exactly one would blow fire though a hole in their throat. Trust me, it was priceless.]

So I’m currently catching up on all my tracked tags from the past few weeks….
…and apparently the LGBTQ community is all angry and up in arms about information on asexuality being added to the Trevor Project? Because they think that us evil asexuals are trying to convert confused teenagers to our made-up orientation so that they’ll lead a depressing life of holier-than-thou repressed homosexuality? Or because we’re historically not as oppressed as LGBTQ people so we should just quit whining because our problems aren’t important?
I’m not denying that LGBTQ people have been and are currently more oppressed in society than asexual people, but the violent rage that comes from that community any time asexual people try to talk about issues specific to them is pretty disheartening and scary.
